Lib Dem led Hart leads the way in reducing carbon emissions with Heat Pumps
Hart District Council have been awarded almost £1.6 million for their scheme to install Heat Pumps in three major buildings, significantly reducing their carbon emissions.
The Liberal Democrats gained two seats on Hart District Council in this year's local elections to become the largest party on the Council with 12 seats. They will continue to jointly administer Hart with the Community Campaign Hart Councillors, who have 11 seats. Together the Lib Dems and CCH in hold 23 of the 33 seats on the Council.
Two seats were gained in Fleet East ward (one of which was vacant), and three other seats were successfully defended by Lib Dem councillors standing for re-election to continue their work representing their wards.
