Votes tonight show Gov won't get an easy ride on the EU Withdrawal Bill

A Lib Dem amendment that would have forced the Government to publish impact assessments of either an agreement or no deal before a meaningful vote on the deal in Parliament has received cross-party support in a vote today.
The Government narrowly avoided defeat, with 320 votes to 301.
Let this be a warning to the Conservatives: they are not going to get the easy ride they expect in their pursuit of a hard Brexit.
This is more evidence that the opposition parties will work together to avert the Conservatives' disastrous path to Brexit. We just hope this is not a one-off by the Labour Party and we urge their leadership to join us in this fight.
The fight now goes to the Lords where the Government isn't close to commanding a majority for it's hard and damaging Tory Brexit.
